Itinerary

We begin our tour at Knossos, the most famous archaeological site in Crete and a must-visit for every traveler. This ancient palace was the center of the powerful Minoan civilization. As we explore the ruins and hear the legends of the site, we learn about the daily life, culture, and history of the Minoan people. You will see important areas such as the palace complex, the mural rooms, the royal quarters, and the impressive architectural structures. The palace is well known for its maze-like corridors, which gave rise to the legend of the Labyrinth and the mythical Minotaur. Its advanced drainage system and architectural design show how developed this civilization was.

After our visit to Knossos, we return to the city of Heraklion for a relaxing walk in the city center. Here, you will have free time to explore the streets, shop in modern stores, enjoy a coffee or lunch at a local café or restaurant, and admire the beautiful medieval buildings and lively atmosphere.

At the end of our day, we visit the Heraklion Archaeological Museum (guided tour). The museum has a modern design and hosts one of the most important collections of Minoan art and artifacts. Here, you will see valuable objects and treasures from ancient Crete, which help you better understand the history and culture of the Minoan civilization.
