Proposed travel route

Sightseeing and transportation arrangements

For the best combination of comfort and value, we recommend private transfers for all journeys involving luggage, with English-speaking shared guided tours wherever suitable winter departures are available.

Mycenae and Epidaurus Shared tour if available; otherwise private vehicle and optional guide

All shared excursions remain subject to minimum participation, confirmed pickup points, guide language and winter operation.

Vegetarian meals and personal comfort

We will request vegetarian breakfasts at all hotels and advise local restaurants of your dietary requirements.

Traditional Greek vegetarian choices include gemista, briam, gigantes, fava, spanakopita, horta and seasonal vegetable dishes. Ingredients should be checked to exclude meat, fish, seafood and animal-based stocks.

We also recommend keeping Santorini sightseeing flexible because December can bring strong winds, rain and seasonal business closures.

For archaeological visits, guides should allow regular seated breaks and adapt the pace to your comfort. Entrance tickets and accessibility limitations will be explained in advance.

Our recommendations for winter travel

1. Keep the existing itinerary. The proposed three nights in Nafplio, three in Santorini and two in Athens provide a balanced holiday without unnecessary hotel changes.

2. Use a private excursion for Olympia. This is a long day from Nafplio. Private transport offers more flexibility for rest stops and sightseeing.

3. Keep both Santorini flight options open. Choose the most suitable schedule after checking actual fares, checked luggage and transfer timings.

4. Prioritise accessible rooms over hotel category. A hotel with a genuine view, reliable lift access and convenient entrance may offer better value than a more luxurious property requiring difficult stairs.

5. Protect the Malpensa overnight stay. The Athens–Milan flight on 7 December should remain unchanged, and the airport hotel should be booked with a reliable Terminal 1 transfer.

We would be delighted to organise your Greece holiday with carefully selected hotels, comfortable transportation and sightseeing arrangements suited to your interests.

All services are subject to availability and written confirmation. No reservations have been made at this stage.

We look forward to preparing the final quotation and welcoming you to Greece.
