1st Day / Delphi

Begin your journey with a scenic drive through the towns of Thebes, Levadia, and the picturesque village of Arachova, famous for its vibrant multi-colored carpets. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Arachova offers stunning views before we arrive at Delphi.

At the foot of Mount Parnassus, within the dramatic Phaedriades rock formations, lies Delphi, once regarded as the center of the world in ancient Greece. According to mythology, two eagles sent by Zeus met here, marking the navel of the world. For centuries, Delphi was a cultural and religious hub, home to the famous Oracle of Delphi and the Pythian Games, second only to the Olympics in significance. Explore the archaeological site (please note: the museum visit is not included), and immerse yourself in this sacred site, a symbol of unity for the Hellenic world.

Afternoon free. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Delphi.

2nd Day / Kalampaka

Morning free. Leave Delphi for an interesting trip through Central Greece and the town of Lamia to Kalambaka. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight.

3rd Day / Meteora and Return to Athens

Today, you’ll discover the awe-inspiring Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The name "Meteora," meaning “suspended in air”, perfectly describes the incredible monasteries perched atop towering granite rocks. Originally accessible only by nets and retractable wooden ladders, these monasteries house priceless historical and religious treasures. Among the 24 original monasteries, the Grand Meteoron is the largest and most significant.

Following your exploration of Meteora, we will start the journey back to Athens, making a short stop at Thermopylae to see across the road the Leonida's Monument, which commemorates the famous battle. Return to Athens in the early evening, with unforgettable memories of your trip through ancient Greece.
