1. Monastery of Prophet Elias & Pyrgos Village.
Start your day with a visit to the serene Monastery of Prophet Elias, perched at the highest point of Santorini. Soak in panoramic views of the island and take a moment to appreciate the tranquil atmosphere.
Following the monastery, we’ll head to Pyrgos, a charming village that once served as the capital of Santorini. Wander through its narrow, winding streets, where you’ll discover beautiful churches and whitewashed houses adorned with vibrant flowers.
Don’t forget to capture stunning photos and admire the sweeping views of the island below.
2. Athinios Port & Volcano Exploration
Next, we descend to Athinios port, where you’ll embark on a scenic boat journey to the island’s iconic volcano.
Hike to the top of the volcanic crater, where you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Caldera and the surrounding geological formations, remnants of ancient eruptions.
This adventure offers a unique perspective on Santorini’s volcanic origins and the forces that shaped its dramatic landscape.
3. Hot Springs Experience.
After exploring the volcano, the journey continues to the nearby Hot Springs.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to swim in the warm, mineral-rich waters, naturally heated by the still-active volcanic craters.
The soothing warmth of the springs is a perfect way to relax and unwind while enjoying the surrounding natural beauty.
4. Thirassia Island – Free Time
Our next stop is the island of Thirassia, a hidden gem offering a glimpse of traditional Greek island life.
You’ll have ample free time to explore the island, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or savor authentic Greek cuisine at one of the local tavernas.
Whether you choose to relax by the sea or wander through the quaint village, Thirassia offers a peaceful escape from the busier parts of Santorini.
5. Return to Athinios Port & Bus Transfer to Oia Village
After a memorable visit to Thirassia, we’ll sail back to Athinios port.
From there, a comfortable bus will take us to the famous village of Oia, renowned for its stunning sunsets.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the village, browse local shops, and find the perfect spot to witness the sun dip below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the Caldera.
6. Oia Village Sunset & Return Transfer
As the day comes to a close, bask in the beauty of Oia’s sunset, an experience that epitomizes the romance and charm of Santorini.
After the sunset, we’ll gather at the designated meeting point in Oia, where our bus will be waiting to return you to your starting location, bringing an end to an unforgettable day of exploration and discovery.
